Dear Spam(s),

Cooking Dummy’s Assistant
Hush. Let me tell you a secret. Cooking Dummy has been invited along with a few special guests to attend a dinner hosted by the Queen. Not Queen Elizabeth but the Queen of Sai Wan.
How she managed to have her name included on the guest list is still a mystery to me. Cooking Dummy did send a picture to me. What’s going on here? Is she preparing dinner for the Queen?
Guess who called me just now? Due to freezing rain, most of the flights to Newark were cancelled this morning except for two flights stopping in Newark before flying to Hong Kong. Cooking Dummy was relieved to know her flight was not cancelled. She’s sitting in the plane right now waiting for take off. It’s been two hours since the scheduled lift off time. The deicing crew didn’t arrive in time. When the crew finally arrived, the weather turned for the worse. Now they are waiting….and waiting….
Apparently, everyone’s hungry but the crew is not serving dinner. It’s nice to know Cooking Dummy’s entertaining herself and playing her favourite game, Cooking Mama.
After many failures, Cooking Dummy feels lost and hopeless. No one appreciates her peanut-butter-honey-ham bagel. Her friends didn’t even bother to vote for her at the Bake-Off Competition. She said, “They pinky swore they would vote for me! C’mon! They should at least do it out of pity.”
Cooking Dummy needs some inspirations. I said, “Why don’t you take a break and visit Hong Kong?” Why Hong Kong? According to the Hong Kong Tourism Board, Hong Kong is known as a gourmet paradise.
What do you think? There’s no better way to learn than to visit the gourmet paradise herself! Perhaps Cooking Dummy will hone her culinary skills there.
Cooking Dummy just submitted the video to the What Gets You Going competition. MTV has to review the video first before showing the video on the site for voting. Now, Cooking Dummy awaits patiently…
You’re probably wondering what PUMA has to do with cooking. Interestingly, using fragrances in cooking can enhance your eating experience. Perhaps Cooking Dummy should start using fragrances to spice up her food.
She wants to thank Geckos and Dancing Angels for exposing themselves to the world.
Let her know what you think about this crazy video!

Who won bragging rights? Take a wild guess.
Let me tell you about her recipe entry. Sarah said, “Just buy the Pillsbury chocolate chip cookie dough. Put the dough in the oven and you’re ready to go!”
Cooking Dummy followed the instructions very carefully. She placed the dough two inches apart and waited patiently for 11 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Look what happened.
These cookies did not look soft and chewy.
What happened here? Since her oven wasn’t working, she had to use her dinky toaster oven to bake three cookies at a time, which was extremely time-consuming!
Imagine if she had baked 30 cookies…
30 cookies / 3 = 10
10 x 15 minutes = 150 minutes
Cooking Dummy was not willing to spend 150 minutes to bake ugly cookies. She figured the other contestants would make enough for everyone.
So who won?
She was surprised all seven cookies were eaten. So was I. She didn’t win bragging rights, but she did receive a loser gift. A pop-up Superman hamper!
