So…. how about make a fruit salad? it’s nice and easy and doesn’t require cooking at all.. juz choping and mixing… can u do that much?? keke~ u should be able to do that….
OK….
1. Go to the grocery stores to buy 2 red apples, 2 green apples (if you like it a bit sour), 1 can of chunk or tibit size pineapple (i usual get the Del Monte grand), 1 can of corn (peach & cream, Del Monte as well). If you want more fresh fruit, you may consider adding some cantalope.
2. Peel & dice the apple, soak them in salt water why preparing the rest of the fruits.
3. Open the can of pineapple, drain out the juice. You may set the juice aside to use it to mix for fruit punch.
4. Open the can of corn, drain any juice. You don’t want to set those aside.
5. If you have the cantalop, chop the cantalop like the size of the pineapple.
6. Put them all in the salad spinner to dry them out so when u mix them it won’t be too watery. You may spin it until there is no more juice.
7. Now you may prepare the dressing. Use a big bowl and put 3 or 4 heaps of Miracle Whip & 1 heap of sugar. Mix them together with a spatula unless u can’t feel the sugar. You may taste the dressing to make sure it suits you and u may adjust it if it’s not sweet enough by adding more sugar.
8. When the dressing is all prepared, you may pour the fruits in and mix it together.
9. Put the fruit salad in the fridge before serving so the salad will be cold.
Try and see if this work… or if u like the taste of this. Different people has different taste.. .I’m just use to doing it this way…… Is it too much work for u, Cookingdummy??

Um, I don’t think you are really ready to even attempt to make a fruit salad. It seems a little advanced for you, Little Chief Karina. I am not trying to be mean, but a friend. Maybe your next step in cooking should be Macaroni & Cheese? You never know, it might turn out to be really good and people will be saying to you ‘More Cheese Please!’

Corn mayo fruit salad? With melons? Whoever wrote that obviously doesn’t have working tastebuds. Karina don’t be a cookingdummy and even acknowledge such disgusting recipes.

Thanks You figure It Out for the step by step instruction! I need it! We need dressing for a fruit salad?
And Sweet Biscuit, a little advanced huh? How hard can it be to make a fruit salad? I’ll even make the cheesy dish!
OOO David. You never know. Things that never associate with one another may turn out well. You know the saying, “opposites attract”?

Well.. fruit salad doesn’t require any cooking and it can’t go wrong… all you have to do is buy the fruits, open the can… chop the fruits, dry out the fruits… how hard is that?? worst case is you chop the fruits to big or too small… or the dressing doesn’t taste the way u like.. or it becomes too soggy.. but if it’s too soggy you can drain it out… if it’s too big or small u can still eat it… if the dressing doesn’t taste right.. u can adjust by adding more Miracle Whip or sugar… but if you don’t want to add sugar to Mircle Whip.. you can juz leave it as is.. I like it with a big of sugar so it doesn’t taste to sour…. Mac & Cheese can go wrong… trust me… I’ve seen it go wrong… haha~
if Sweet Biscuit thinks fruit salad is too hard… how about peanut butter & jam sandwich? hm… something simpler… microwave dinner??
if David thinks it’s gross… no one said you have to try it… didn’t u read at the end… diffferent ppl have different taste… no one is tell you to eat it now…. is there?

The corn mayo fruit salad was questionable… it didn’t taste nearly as scary as i feared… but there was stomach pains after, though that could be related to the 5-day old malaysian food i had for lunch… all in all, i will give it a 5 out of 10… but let’s see something even more interesting… :o) i’ll give it a try…

Don’t blame Fruit Cake A La Corn! I bought the fruits Sunday night. I strongly believe your stomach ache was caused by your aging Malaysian food. And how can you change your score? Can a teacher change the mark after the paper was returned to the student? I want the my points back!

Oh my gosh - not just did the Tyndale people had belly aches, but everyone! What was in that recipe Cooking Dummy did you not tell us about? Do you secretly hate everyone and want to get even???

Nice name Tyndale! Can you elaborate a little here? What do you mean everyone? Not that many people had the opportunities to try my food yet.
There’s no secret ingredient. Fruit Cup A La Corn was made as per You Figure It Out’s instructions. See above.
